About

There is something about stopping in for a drink in a charming countryside pub after a busy week. Sure, a drink anywhere after a hectic week would be nice, but it’s about more than that, isn’t it? There is the bustling atmosphere and clinking of glasses, the snippets of conversation and the polite hellos to those you’ve seen there before, there’s the wood floors and beams and tufted leather banquettes, and if you’re really lucky, there’ll be a roaring fire by your usual table.
